wifi tether settings

What are people using for wifi tether and settings for it. Mine shuts down all the time. Right now I'm using 3.3 pre2. And stock rooted.

When I was stock rooted I used TrevE Mod and it worked great. Make sure your Sprint Connections Optimizer is disabled, for it may be the reason it keeps turning off.
