Wifi to 4g lte

Anytime I turn wifi off I have to switch airplane mode on and than off to get 4g lte again otherwise it just shows full bars with no Internet. I have the tmobile version. This was not an issue on my g3. Anyone else having this issue or have an idea on what it could be?

I have the International/UK version and mine has an option to automatically connect to data if the wifi disconnects.

I think that's if wifi is a weak signal but I'll try it thanks for the quick reply

I was having WiFi problems also with my G4 from t mobile. I figured out that the t mobile app may have been causing the problem. I disabled all their features thru the app and haven't had a problem since.
