WiFi turning on by itself

Anyone notice that since the last update, the WiFi on your T-Bolt turns itself on by itself? I thought I might just be hitting the widget by accident. I deleted the WiFi widget, but sure enough, WiFi was back on a half hour later. I wouldn't mind so much, but the internet in my office is really slow.

Am I the only one this is happening to?

No, it would not cause wifi to turn on. If its unchecked and the screen is off then data stops working.

I think I found it. I have the HTC desktop docking station and there are some wifi settings in the docking app (and only way to find those setting is using the search soft key). I will see if it turns on again without using the dock.

Could you tell (exactly) how you found the setting. My post update TB is now doing the same thing with the WiFi turning on and I use the HTC/Verizon Dock.

It's the dock settings. I noticed this after the update as well. Best way to turn it off is while it's docked, press menu and the settings bar will come up. After that, it's merely unchecking the Auto WI-FI option. Hope this helps.

That did it. I keep taking it out of the dock to search for the setting........in the dock, found it.
