AOD keeps turning itself off

I have AOD on for 'show for new notification', but it keeps turning off by itself.

i check the 'Power Saving' and turn off Always On Display is OFF. so i don't understand why AOD keeps turning off.

i also check Good Lock, and I didn't find any app is turning AOD off.

any idea?

But, does it come on when a notification occurs?

If so, then it's doing as designed since you are telling it to only come on when a notification comes in. Then go off after 5 seconds, or something like that.

If you don't want the AOD to ever turn off - then set it to "Show always". That's how mine is set. I use Glimpse Notification app to turn the screen fully on and display the notification pop-up, then dim back down to the AOD which shows the time and the icons for the waiting notifications.

when i get a notification, the screen does not turn. then i check settings ->lock screen, AOD is turn off.

i change AOD to 'Always On'. turn off the phone, the AOD screen shows up for one second and then gone. once again, i go into settings -> lock screen, AOD is turn off.

thanks for your help. i found the culprit - it's the aodNotify app. i had to change some settings.
