WiFi with ATT U-Verse must call AT&T

I tried hooking up my Tab to my AT&T U-Verse network via WIFI and the Tab does not support the same type security. So Samsung told me to call AT&T and get them to change my security type to WEP and it should work fine. I have not called AT&T yet but will let everyone know if this is possible.

I would try going to your modem first and put in its ip address into your url on the compiter and see what kind of options you have there. When i have a blackberry o had to do that in order for it to connect to wifi due to security reasons

Oh, i use Mac computers and have no idea how to do that.

Same way, type in the ip address into your safari browser. The ip address is at the side of yoir gateway where the wifi password is. Type it in as shown on there

Ok I called AT&T U-Verse and they changed my security to WEP in just a couple of minutes anf now I am all hooked up. WOW this wifi is fast. Love my Tab!
