So I'm about 90% sure I'm going to buy one on Wednesday. The other 6% is looking at the Thrive and the other 4% would to the Flyer.

But anyway, I haven't kept up to speed with the 2 updates it has received since it came out so:

1. I remember at first it didn't have Flash? Is that still an issue or was it fixed in any of the updates?

2. I glanced and seen there was an issue with SD cards. Can somebody tell me what's going on with that.

3. I also glanced and seen it only shows mobile versions of websites. Is that true and if so, if there a way to turn it off like in my phone? And is it common in all of the Android tablets or just this one?

I really enjoy the Xoom Wifi. It does have flash and reports after a recent update claim the SD card works in read only mode (I haven't tried it yet). It defaults to mobile, but you can get around this by entering about: debug each time you start the browser... or downloading a third party option.

I love my Xoom. Very impressive little device. KJ is correct with everything he said, but I wanted to verify from first hand experience that the SD card DOES work. I have the WIFI version, and the SD card works. I've only used it in read only so far (to store movies and what not) as the Xoom has a ton of useable storage and it hasn't been an issue at all.

Flash has never been an issue for me. Works just fine.

And I''ve been using the Skyfire browser instead of stock, and it does the normal versions of websites. I had forgotten all about that "mobile only" version (used to drive me nuts too until I downloaded a non-stock browser...fixed).

I'd say pull the trigger.

PS. you can also plug in a video game controller via a USB OTG cable and play tons of old emulators (NES, SNES, GBA, etc.) perfectly on a big screen with a perfectly fit controller. It's awesome. Completely redone how I view my video gaming time.
