I'm having problems with my wifi coming on without turning it on. I can be in the middle of the woods with no signal and wifi turns on. I want to be able to turn wifi on or off manually. I have tried everything. Does anyone have a solution? Don't mention wifi smart mode because that feature isn't on my s4.

Disable "Always allow scanning" and Autoconnect".

Swipe down from the top of the screen and turn off WIFI!

Found the problem! It was straight talk's app that was causing the wifi to come on when I turn it off. Un installing it was the fix.
