My Galaxy S4 is acting up. No sim inserted or detected please restart. Replaced the card for free and tray reader for 30 bucks. No luck still rebooting all the time.
So I just got a G4 Play form bestbuy today 140 plus tax. 153 something total. And an incipio case for 20 bucks.
Incipio Octane Case for Motorola MOTO G (4th Gen) Play Black MT-391-BLK - Best Buy
Works great. Few issues not a good as the others.. But main thing I liked was removable battery. So I got this one. And its great. 2gb ram is enough and 16gb is small but I will manage. And I have a 128gb micro sd from my galaxy s4 I can use. And the rest is decent. Not the best but good enough for me.
But I noticed wifi is only 2.4ghz. And specs say its only 2.4ghz. No 5ghz. I have no 5ghz on my laptop either so its not a big deal. But my router and all support both 2.4 and 5. And for the laptop I can get a usb dongle so no big deal.
But cellphone there is no work around. But do I really need 5ghz. At home its ok but like if goto Starbucks or MCdonalds is 2.4ghz good enough. Or 2.4 will never disappear and last many years. Or do they even have 5ghz. Its generally just one name and no separate 2.4 and 5ghz. Or will I ever goto a Starbucks with 5ghz only. Probably not and hope 2.4 will last many years.
Or should I get another phone. I hope not I hate this new 35 dollar restocking fee they implemented.
