AC Question

will a 1Ah output power bank be compatible with my droid turbo?

i want to use this power bank while i'm out on my job site, my battery drains in about 10 hours of heavy use aka spotify / pandora / youtube for music (which normally isn't a problem, but some days i don't have access to my charger for a few more hours)

Assuming it's a standard USB 5V DC output, yes, it will charge fine at 1A, just not nearly as fast as it does with a the included Turbo charger.

Any 5 Volt microUSB power bank is "compatible" with any phone, but the amount of time (or charge, depending on which direction you're looking at it from) you get varies with the phone and the capacity of the power bank.

The Turbo uses a 3900mAh battery, which means that you can safely draw 2340mA out of it (down to 40%). The power bank can safely have 6000mA (down to 40% again) drawn from it, so you can charge the phone back to 100% about 2.56 times. (It should charge just as fast as a normal 5 volt wall charger will charge the phone - the phone doesn't care where the charging current is coming from. It won't turbo charge it, unless the power bank is capable of turbo charging.)

It's basic electricity 101.
