Will a lg stylo 4 phone case fit my new lg stylo 5?

Hi,
Just wondering if a Lg stylo 4 cell phone case would also fit the new LG Stylo 5 phone?

The general answer to this type of question is no. From generation to generation phones will have different locations for ports, speakers, microphones and buttons. That's not even taking into account different dimensions or styling features (like the radius of the corners or a curved back) that cause cases to not fit properly. Just looking at the pictures I can tell you it won't fit...

actually I transferred my Stylo 4 case to my Stylo 5. it fits "enough" even though the Stylo 5 is supposed to be "bigger". if you look at the specs, they are the exact same size.

I did buy a new case for it, since my old one is 1 year old.

Remember that case fit is more than simply about dimensions. Cutouts have to match all of the sensors and openings with a good amount of precision -- if any of them are blocked (e.g., camera sensors or mic openings), it may impact performance.

the cutouts are the same. the design of the Stylo 5 allows a Stylo 4 case to fit, but it "sits" higher which limits the side protection a bit. I used my old case, until the new one I got off Amazon came to my house.

it wasn't much of a difference, but it was noticeable. but in a pinch it will work.
