Will a Verizon G2 work on AT&T?

A Coworker has an AT&T G2 that the screen fizzled out on. I have a Verizon G2 that works great, but has been replaced by a G4. I'd like to give him the G2, but don't know if it would work if he put his AT&T sim in. Anybody know?

If they have the same screen then you could switch them couldn't you? So he'd still be able to use his AT&T G2.

I wouldn't recommend disassembling a perfectly good device for parts to use on a broken device. If one has no experience with this, the result will probably be two broken devices instead of one.

Well they said it was only the screen, but I understand what you're saying. I think he'll be fine until his upgrade comes in.
