Will an unlocked iPhone 6 work on T-Mobile? (Update: I swapped)

I'm changing to tmobile and 1 of my phones is an iPhone 6. Unlocked. Will it work on tmobile?

I thought it would. The salesperson told me that my daughters iPhone 6S would be fine but my wife's 6 might not work. I, myself am an android fanatic. I've got an S7 EDGE and a zte axon 7 both unlocked. I know they'll work. I'm going for the LG V30 when it comes out. I think thus guy was just trying to get me to buy a phone. Thanks for the info. By the way, both iphones are from Verizon and should be unlocked.

I finally did it

Just took my first step in abandoning verizon. I opened an account for my wife (over 55),on the new senior plan. Put my daughter on the account too. So for them, I'll pay 60.00 month unlimited talk, texts, data. As soon as my son buys his own plan, I'll put my 2 phones on my own senior plan. That means I'll go from paying 245.00 month for unlimited talk texts and data with verizon, to 120.00 month unlimited with T-mobile. We're getting better reception, and faster speeds too. Nice.

No issues. But another question. My son and daughter in law. Both have iPhone 5 on AT&T. Do you know if those phones are unlocked? They want to change too.

they can use them on T-Mobile as they are unlocked. contact AT&T to unlock. or you can do it yourself through a company on eBay.

Oh no. I'd get rid of the s7 edge first. The axon7, with dolby atmos really is incredible. Especially dolby encoded movies.

How were you able to get your daughter on the senior plan? I thought they required a drivers license for new customers.

Only the account owner must be 55+ . The second line can be any age.

Hmmmm. Need to let my sister know that. I thought it was specified they both needed to be 55. That will be great for her.

I never looked at that part since both of us are 55! It didnt matter but it will to her and good for you!
