Will best buy price match targets $100 gift card for Note 7 pre order?

Does anyone if best buy will match the gift card from target on the pre order for the note 7?

Doubtful, they usually don't price match things that aren't in stock.

I went to Best Buy to ask if they would be able to price match the $100 gift card that Target's offering and they told me no.

Thanks thats what I was afraid of.

I like the idea of getting direct fulfillment on my gear fit2 but right now have mine through sams club with their 150 gift card offer. I heard they wouldnt match sams since they require a membership but didn't know about targets offer.

They only match actual price and no gift cards. Seems a quid pro quo in retail to get around price matching since all are doing it now. Phones though have little wiggle room on cost.

The official answer is no... But just depends on who you get... You could get lucky
