Will Gear 2 Neo work with a custom rom

Hi, I have a galaxy s3 and a gear 2 neo, both work fine with my stock android 4.3

As the new 4.4 update isn't coming to the s3 I was interested in flashing a custom rom, however will I still be able to get gear manager to work with my custom rom?

It only works with TouchWiz based roms. So any rom that has TW has no problems but others will. There are however some workarounds and people did manage to get it working with non-Samsung devices although with limited functionality so you can check out how to do that if you want to try custom mods such as CM or w.e
