Will Google and Microsoft partner up?

I think that it's only a matter of time, say 2 to 5 years, until MS has no choice but to partner with another company. And it definitely won't be Apple. So how about Google? A hybrid of Google Docs and MS Word, would be pretty cool. So Time to sound off, will this happen, can it happen, should it happen?
Plus with their combined strength they could end this destructive conflict and bring order to the galaxy. Or at least the tech industry. LOL.

MS would just put a higher price on all things google. no good.
imagine updates that cost 50 bucks.
