Will it erase an SD card?

Will what erase an SD card?

It is very unpredictable. You never know what It will do.

But, once you understand what It is, then It all becomes clear.

If you have a card you have been using in another device and you move it into the S8 it will offer the choice to Format or not since it is a new card for the S8. If you choose to format that WILL erase everything on the card. If you decline format it WILL NOT erase anything on the card.
