The reasons are"
1. In the past month have lost cell service 3 times. It happens without warning, all settings pertaining to networks are "greyed out" in settings and are not usable (even wifi & bluetooth - they can be accessed in quick menu). Nothing else works - can't send or receive calls or texts) Only way to correct is a reboot. If screen is not on & you are not looking at it you don not know if happened - may miss an important call or text.
2.This has happened 4 times in the last month - Can't turn phone off, will reboot. The max. times I have tried to reboot is 4 times. Each time a battery pull works.
3.This has happened several times (phone off or on). When plug in charger get a messg "Downloading software, don't turn phone off". It won't recognize the usb as a charge cable. Can't get rid of messg or turn phone off/on; have to do a battery pull. Then works OK (same cable). This has happened on several cables( all OEM - LG or Samsung).
4. Battery drain - In the past I can go 2 or 3 days with up to 4 hrs of screen time & still greater than 40% left. Now I loose 2 or 3% per hour on good days with no use (used to get less than 1% per 3 hrs). One day went to zero in 4 hours (sitting on table). Have not been able to improve no matter what I do (have tried everything)
I will keep the phone & use as a backup if needed or to just play game & stream music. I will buy a new phone in the next month
