Will my charger work in Ireland on just an adapter?

I have a samsung galaxy S5 active and I bought an adapter for my trip to ireland. But i didn't know if i needed a converter also. Do i?

Welcome to Android Central! Almost all chargers that come with devices are compatible with both 110V and 220V outlets. Look carefully at the fine print on the charger--if it says 110-220V, you don't need a converter.
