Call VZW up immediately and have them move it up a day. If the CSR refuses to do so, ask to speak to a supervisor. I had mine moved from the 21st to the 15th without a single issue.
Just called in and the guy wouldn't move it ahead 1 day. He assures me that there will be no shortages of the Droid x and will be able to order it without a problem on the 16th. Not sure what to think of that.

I did the survey and just got the call back and filled it out dissatisfied. I will call again and see what i can get done.

Well 4th time was the charm. I finally got ahold of a guy that understood what I was after. He put me on hold for a couple minutes then came back and told me he had his supervisor move my upgrade date to today. Now when I look at my account online it says I am eligible for upgrade. Looks like I'm joining Team Android on the 15th!
Can anyone tell me if Verizon will be shipping the Droid X via overnight, and people who order on Thursday will definitely receive it by Friday? or is it possible they won't get it until Monday?
