Will Samsung ditch S-Voice for Google Now?

So I was just sort of wondering about this the other day. HTC also said they planned to make their own Siri-competitor, but it seems that so far everyone (even Apple fans for the most part) seem to agree that Google Now handily beats Siri in mostly every respect minus a little complaints about having to be a little more specific with the way you word things when compared to Siri.

This sort of made me wonder if everyone will ditch their plans for their own voice services and just use Google Now or has Samsung already invested too much into S-Voice to let it go? I know everyone also likes putting their own "look" on things and I'm not sure if Google is going to allow people to 'skin' Google Now.

I would assume it'd be a smart move to just use Google Now, but my money is that Samsung sticks with S-Voice. What's everyone think? Or is Google Now one of those things that if you support the Jelly Bean update you HAVE to have it in there (despite the fact that devices with buttons can't support the swipe up from home button option)?

I would think that they would want the best possible product and atm Google's voice search/Google now on JB make for the best product

Probably not. The OEMs for some reason think their crap differentiates them, even when it's totally clear that Android had advanced far beyond anything they can cobble together.

the GSIII uses a long press on the menu button to bring up the search protocol. I suspect that if the Jelly Bean update from Samsung does not ditch S-Voice (unlikely), it will have Google Now as an option as well via the long press menu button. Developers will quickly have a root option to switch GNow to the main button.

ICS has a Google voice search app that exists alongside S Voice and i expect Google now is replacing that app.

so my expectation is: Google Now replaces the current Google voice search app and S Voice continues to exist but will get very little use

I have a feeling Samsung will somehow blend Google Now's capabilities into S-Voice.

I think they should ditch S-Voice for Google Now.
