Will T-Mobile Wi-Fi calling work with the unlocked version?

I just saw there is an unlocked version coming out at release and I was wondering has anyone heard if it will work with Tmobile wifi calling? If so I will get this phone.

I bought the unlocked v20 and it didn't so it's something I need to know before ordering.

Thanks. Usually samsung unlocked phones work fine with wifi calling and tmobile but really want to know before throwing nearly 900 down on something.

I doubt it. I am currently using S6 unlocked on T-mobile and I can't use wifi calling feature. This is one of the reasons why I ordered S8+ from T-mobile this time instead of getting unlocked.

I would like to know this as well since I prefer unlocked devices. Nexus and Pixel phones I've used work with T-Mobile's wifi calling so I hope this works.

I am getting the T-Mobile version. They can always unlock it after you paid off the balance. That way WiFi calling and texting works for sure.

I decided to pay the $25 more and order the tmobile version from samsung.com. It likely would work but also people are complaining about the lack of updates for the unlocked versions of phones. I paid upfront all at once like I always do.

The tmobile version shoudl have an unlock feature on it.
