I posted this on the S8 forum, but maybe its better here.
The 8+ has the larger battery, but how much will it be negated by the larger screen eating it up? In the end, will it have battery battery life, or will they likely be similar?
Nope, it won't. The battery in the S8 is just too small to catch up to the S8+ with only a 0.4in difference in screen size.
Well perhaps you've gotten lucky. All evidence points to the S7 edge lasting longer than the S7. Samsung's own tests show the S8+ lasting longer and their tests showed the same for the last generation. Most of the time you can tell by battery and screen size, especially when everything else is equal like with these devices. We're not talking about different manufacturers. You can't tell just by battery add screen sizes. I have s s7 and a S7E and the batteries last about the same when I use them the same way. Not scientific but real world usage.
Lol right. They must have turned the screen off and output it to another screen or something.I like how it says you can do 18h of video playback. Only problem is that the screen can only be on for 5h of that 18.![]()

I'd expect a bit less on a CDMA phone, but that's the nature of CDMA.
