SVDO has not been mentioned, and so far the only phone that is known to have it is the ThunderBolt. eHRPD, that is a good question, since it helps with the handover from 3G to LTE once would think ALL 4G LTE phones would have it but so far nothing has been commented on and the specs the mfg's post are for kiddies to read, not those who actually pay attention and notice what's missing.
You're talking about two very different things. SVDO is a function of the radio chips. The Samsung radios do not have that capability.
eHRPD is something completely different that has to do with the NETWORK, not the phones. Basically, its the transition/compatibility layer between CDMA-based EVDO, and GSM-based LTE. Its a function of the NETWORK, to allow an LTE phone to function on an EVDO network and transition between the two. So, yes, the Charge will be an eHRPD phone.
Sorry that wasn't directed at you specifically, more to the questions in general.

OK, does eHRPD necessarily allow an LTE-capable phone to have faster than normal 3G speeds sans an active LTE connection while transitioning to the LTE connection?
