Folks,

So far no one has mentioned if the Mate 10 Pro will be Daydream View compatible. It's predecessor the Mate 9 Pro was, so you would THINK that it would be. It has the correct type screen, and would seem to have the other specs for it. However it's not yet listed on that page at Google which says what phones are compatible.

Does anyone know?

I think I read somewhere that it would be though I can't remember where.

You would think, BUT it's not showing yet on the Google page for that stuff and all the "preview" videos and blogs have not mentioned it, at least the ones I saw.

That would be nice if Huawei bundled a vr headset with the mate 10

Definitely a very niche item. Really cool to have, played around with Samsung VR for like an hour. then never used it again

Same here. Used mine once,,, nifty, but not something I would use at this time

I have a Mate 10 Pro and unfortunately can confirm that the DayDream software reports the device as incompatible so it cannot be used until this is resolved.

I really hope that it is approved soons I just invested in a Daydream and the controller is useless. The headset works really well though when used as a Cardboard device.

I have also paired a 8Bitdo controller for apps which need one.

The device excels in VR capacity I'm getting 60+fps and no significant drop in battery or additional heat.

Anyone know if we can find out if they have applied for certification?

Still wondering here too! I have a chance to buy one but I'm hesitating because of the Daydream issue.
