There are a couple more alternatives, a wireless USB Flash stick or a wireless USB harddrive. I've tested a pre-release version of the SanDisk Wireless 32G Flash and it works very well. It's about the same size as a regular Flash stick and it can run as a wireless hotspot. I was able to stream movies from it with my 2012 Nexus7, my Galaxy Nexus and my desktop at the same time so it has sufficient bandwidth. I also have a Seagate Wireless 1TB drive, it's very buggy, I don't recommend it.
