Will the new S10 still have the LED notification light or has Samsung done away with it?

No it wouldn't. There's still bezel above the screen, and Samsung has in past devices integrated the led into the earpiece speaker.

Now that you mention it, I remember reading something about a patent related to different colors that could be illuminated around the camera hole. At the time, it seemed like a silly gimmick. The usefulness didn't occur to me until I read your post. Hope you are right. The LED is important to me.

How does a feature on another phone confirm something on the Note 10? Can you elaborate?

The ring around the camera would be fine, but I don't see anyone stating that it even has that.

On Flossy's video I spotted a white ring running around the front facing camera for a couple of seconds.

I think that's only when you take a selfie so you know where to look at the camera.

I'm reading from several sites that there isn't a LED notification light on the S10 series. Anyone see different?

This makes me sad. The LED is very useful to me. I'm a Note customer - not the S series, but if it's gone from the S, odds are it will be gone from the Note.

I'm guessing if there isnt one they hope the edge lighting will get more popular.

I had read that they patented a multi color circle light around the camera hole. I was hoping they were going to use that as an LED notification. Who knows, they still could one day.
