Will the Nexus 4 get 4.4?

The new features and visual upgrades leaked for the Nexus 5 seem quite exciting. But AC still hasn't said a thing about whether the Nexus 4 will be getting any of that.
So, do you think the Nexus 4 will get kit Kat? The galaxy Nexus got 4.3 when it rolled out, so I'm guess that the Nexus 4 will get 4.4. But I'm doubtful about the galaxy Nexus.

Yup 100% it will be the first phone to receive the update after the n5 launch. Google takes care of us nexus folks.

I actually don't think it will. I think they've just eliminated the black background for aesthetics. The buttons look to be the same proportion, so you wouldn't be able to add a widget or anything behind them.

Exactly. You will just see more of the wallpaper due to the transparency.

I don't think the transparent navigation buttons will result in more useable screen area. The screen area will "appear" bigger. But the area of use will be the same, at least that's what I'm guessing.
