I didn't say that they don't sell phones at all.Really? My brother went from Samsung to lg (for some odd reason). So when my dad needed a new phone when his S3 died, he got an LG. He got the Stylo 4 (has a stylus, somewhat like a very basic Spen).
You may know this already but you don't lose wired capability because they provide an adapterI have been using wired with my Note 9 but recently got a pair of Buds and have been using them with no issues, That said, I like the option of going wired. Not a deal breaker but I will miss having the option.

LG is everything but dead in the mobile industry.
Well to remove it from the LG would probably require a larger dongle adapter to house the DAC unless the adapter were just a passthrough device.Agreed. Currently they have no contest when it comes to an audio enhanced centered/focused phone. Onkyo released one a little while back but it did not have flagship qualities along with the audio capabilities and they don't really know whole lot about Android or mobile. LG will probably continue with the headphone jack even long after all other makers have ditched it in their flagship phones. There is no good reason to need to really remove it imo, but what do I know...? I am not a phone maker

Won't bother me. I have wireless earbuds.

Just leave the adapter connected to your headphones.
This is a pointless 'upgrade' that would only appeal to the white knights here. This will result in returns, lower take up and the possible move to other manufacturers by otherwise loyal customers previously satisfied with the mini computer that is the Note line, not a device obsessed with thinness over versatility.
Well none of that has been an issue for even though I now switch between a device with and without. It's obviously easier for most to use a with a jack, but it's just never been an issue that would be a deal breaker for me if everything else on the device clicked all the boxes. Bluetooth vs wired is another debate that has pros and cons. I use everything without a issue and always have something for every situation.I would lose it. I buy cheap headphones and leave one in every jacket and jeans. I have several cheap wireless headphones as well but they're never charged when I need them and they are not as loud as the wired headphones.

If they do they'll be that item next to the standard headphones but cost 3 dollarsWell if the dollar store starts selling usb c headphones I have no beef!
They might include a set$3 is doable. I usually listen to CNN or watch sports so sound quality is a plus not a need.
Not one for the pocket of every jacket. Some people have glasses all over the houseThey might include a set
Be nice if every maker of a phone lacking a head phone jack included a pair. I'd have a collection by now...dongles and adapters are the lamest excuse to make money... Apple is good at this. Not one for the pocket of every jacket. Some people have glasses all over the house
I have headphones everywhere in case i need them. Both cars. Jeans pocket. Sweater pocket. Etc.
