Android Pay doesn't let the S5 use Fingerprint lockscreen, not sure it's good enough.

I don't like the finger print scanner on the S5 personally - but we have NFC Payments now on the S5 - so...good enough

I'm not sure that's the case? I use fingerprint lock on my S5 and android pay setup just fine with it (although I haven't used yet!) But maybe I'm missing something?

I set it up with fingerprint and it gives a nag screen saying it will remove my cards after 5 minutes. After maybe 10-15 minutes it removes all my cards from Android Pay.

Wow my S5 never gives me any of those fingerprint problems - I can still use my fingerprint. Even better, when I place my phone at an nfc terminal, android pay makes me swipe my finger before it starts the transaction.

For Samsung Pay - yes, only newer devices. However, S5 supports Android Pay.

I'm curious, are you on 5.0? Maybe it's a version issue?

There was always nfc payments in the s5. Google Wallet

The S5 will not be getting Samsung Pay, only Google Pay. Check out the other thread on this as people (including I) asked about it on the S5.
