Will the Samsung Galaxy Note5 N9208 Dual-SIM phoenix work in US and get updates like the US version?

I know the phone will work on ATT network but nervous I won't be able to get updates.

Welcome to Android Central! It wouldn't get updates through AT&T. You'd probably have to see if Samsung releases firmware updates for that particular model, and flash it using Odin. Or possibly use Smart Switch to update the firmware.
