That's too bad. I wish someone would come up with a way we could get rid of the bloatware that Samsung has crammed into this phone. I'd also get rid of constant nags to install Google Now.

You have to root to uninstall system apps.

Did you disable Google Now in your google settings? When are you getting these prompts?

I haven't installed Google Now, yet. I just get nags every now and then to install it. I can't say it fits any particular pattern.

You can just disable it from your home screen. Hold down the multi-tasking button on the bottom left, go to Home Screen Options, and uncheck the box for it -- No more worries .
