Will Verizon drag it's butt releasing the Note 7 ?

This is true -- for pre-orders T-Mobile tries to send it out earlier (on purpose) to get them to customers. Other carriers usually ship a day or two before release date so you can get it on the actual release date.

To be honest, this is a big improvement over times past. Verizon didn't even carry the s2. The s3 was delayed like 3 months, one delayed like 6 months. Those are things that you can blame Verizon. But, at least for the s7, they released by release date... Verizon has met my expectation here. Granted tmobile sent it out early so they get bonus points , but I don't fault Verizon for releasing on release date.

Agreed. Verizon released on the release date. No one should expect earlier -- if it happens just count it as a bonus .
