Will Verizon replace this phone with another phone?

I will say that overall I like my Charge over the Motorola Droid X I had before, but the lack of support and updates for this phone is aggravating. If I was up for a upgrade, I would probably go with the Nexus, because I do like the Samsung as well. Thank you to all the Dev's for their work in making this phone tolerable until my next upgrade.

I called VZW today about the buzzing sound and was told they had to send a ticket to their tier 3 tech support.

Well I got my 3rd replacement Charge, and the battery overheated within hours of having got it. I mean REALLY overheated.

They offered me the Bionic, Charge, Rezound, Specturm, Lucid, TB, and the Revolution.

The Nexus was not an option.

Which would you choose?

I went with the Rezound. The dev community seems pretty good, the ICS rumors put it at sometime in May, it is dual core, it is 1GB ddr2...the screen seems to be just slightly inferior to the SA+...what would you have done?

Keep in mind, it was a straight up exchange and my upgrade is intact, about 3 months from now...good decision?

Good choice since some of the phones they offered you are junk in my opinion. I hope I can get a replacement device, all the Rep. told me was they need to make a support ticket and call me back. LOL

Great choice...especially with the new crop of devices coming out over the next few months. You get one of the best devices out as a stop gap. Not a bad deal.

yeah I am pretty pleased with it from what I am reading...

Is that the first guy you talk to saying that? Tell them you want tier two support. Tell them what has been wrong with your past ones, and exactly what you want. Be firm but nice.

lpt--yeah it is a good stop gap. I am hoping that I like it enough to last me through until the next google phone whatever that may be.

That was tier three support and all they told me was they would call me when they get a solution.
