For what it's worth, it's only $70 extra over the NE2 price for any phone with Verizon if you go for a one year contract. That's well worth it for those that want the newest phone all the time and want to not pay full retail for it. Additionally, I'm pretty sure you can upgrade after 10 months on contract.
