Dude, look like 4-5 posts up from yours.

Really want this, but is this one of those social engineering hacks? 3rd party app for Wallet? You see where I am going with this? Sincerest apologies to the creators of this breakthrough if I am wrong.

Have you tried installing the google wallet app they jailbroke? It gave me $10.
To the same token, can we NFC with other GN's? Is there a thread on that.
There is a new apk that works without root or flashing. Just install like another app. I'm not rooted and it works for me. Just make sure you go into settings--> security--> check the box for allowing unknown sources (like you would if you wanted to use amazon app store).
Go Here and download the version in the first box. Works great for me right now. I'm going to check out how well it works at target today.
Andrew...anybody else... help us out some more....so after enabling the market for all sourcess..using our phone we go to the XDA site link, click on the link that says com.google.anddroid.apps.walletnf..... that is located in the first post.... then this will be downloaded to our phone.
Then we go to the "downloads" app in the app drawer and click/long press on this file and this will install Wallet on our phone?
If we need to uninstall.. say in case Verizon decides we cannot use ISIS and Wallet on the same phone(sounds crazy but who knows) can we just uninstall this app like any other?
I used to agree with this train of thought. However it sounds pretty anti-competitive and kinda illegal.
it's only illegal if you look at the law through a twisted lens. verizon's network+subsized phone = they can block/push/allow whatever they want and for any reason they want so long as it meets their contractual obligations with partners, suppliers, etc (ie google, samsung).
I thought Wallet was a generic Google app installable from the market by anyone. is this not true?

Verizon can block any app they want that their customers have access to in the interest of "security concerns" and that can relate to fraud, insecure data, viruses, and more. Because Google Wallet is a program/feature that has high security concerns they are in their right to ensure a solid user experience. Anyone that uses it before Verizon gives an official thumbs up is not able to go after Verizon or even Google for that matter on any issues that arise from it's use.
Use at your own risk until then. (I'm using it and enjoying it)
Go figure they downloadable apk comes out and works flawlessly... LoL... I was certain I had that one right and hate eating crow.

Has anyone had any luck with prepaid gas? I tried doing it at the pump with no total or cashier with no luck. I was wondering if anybody had accomplished this or if it is just a limitation of the product. Everwhere else it works great for me.
