Will we still be able to receive OTA updates if we flash firmware from another country?

I just update my device to Android 4.4.4 BTU. My phone originally use Android 4.4.4 THL. Will I be able to get OTA updates?

Will I be about to receive updates in the future such as OTA and Kies?

You should still be able to. If your back in your home country, you could go to Settings, about device, software update, check now, and see if any error pops up. If not then you should still be able to recieve software updates

The answer to that is definitely... No!

Since firmware updates depend on both the CSC and Product code of the phone and by flashing a different firmware you are changing the CSC code and will no longer receive updates OTA or via Kies. See the warning in #1.11 of 40 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide
