Will you be changing the launcher on your note 7

what are the pros of TouchWiz? I've used Nova for a few years...

Used to use nova. Which i prefer from the other launchers. Touchwiz just wasn't that bad on the note 5 and i liked the samsung themes better then nova themes.
Going back to nova for the note 7 though. IDK on the note 7 the icons are weird. Its like the sizing is off. Icons are either tooo big or too small. and with the small icons too much empty spacing between them.

I am a long time user of Nova but I really like this version of Touchwiz. With the icon frames removed and small icon scaling, it looks great! I don't like the messaging app so I installed Textra. That is the only thing I have changed.

Has anybody found a dark theme? I had a few on my s7 edge but they are not available for the Note 7. I'm assuming it's due to the new grace ux. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Nova Launcher user (typically) here. Has anyone had luck with the swipe up gesture to launch Samsung Pay? Or is it locked to TW Home?

Works for me, no problem.

there is a "material black" theme for .99. i bought that one. i wish they had material dark, though. that is what i had on my note 5 and i loved it.

I tried the TouchWiz launcher for a whopping 6hrs total when I got the phone yesterday. I tried to like it but went back to Nova. Plus I like that a lot of the S-Pen features and Sammy widgets work with Nova. I had a Note 3 back in the day and a lot of the widgets that Sammy had etc was not available to use with Nova.

Yup I was afraid of the same thing when I put Nova on. The swipe up to launch Samsung Pay works with Nova, plus the tab is also visible at the bottom of the screen as well.

First thing I did, went to nova launcher

Used TouchWiz for a couple hours. Went back to Nova Prime. You can fit so much more on the screen and both the home screen and app launcher loop. That's a must.

I gave Touch Wiz a whirl for a few hours again but went back to Google Now which I've been using in my Note 3 and the Blu Pure XL I had for a while too. I prefer it.

Nova. Everything is already setup the way I love it. The killer features for me are:
1. Gesture support allowing me to swipe down anywhere to get notifications
2. Grid size flexibility well beyond what TW allows.
3. "Swipe to Open" folders where the app or person I use or reach out to most in a folder is the one I see until I swipe up on that icon to see the rest.
4. Infinite scrolling home pages making it quicker to get to pages.
5. Swipe up actions such as quick dial my wife's mobile if I swipe up on her contact icon, or text my work colleague when I swipe up on his/her contact icon.

Im loving this phone, and though I never had a big problem with Touchwiz, I always switched to Nova. However, this time, Im gonna try and see if I can stick with Touchwiz especially since its much more customizable.

What about you guys?

Especially now that you can just pull in the icons that you like from a theme without using the whole theme yes I plan to stick with it.

I always go with Apex Launcher
