Will you be getting or considering the Note 5?

Haven't seen any specs yet, so who knows? No SD card would mean no. No removable battery would mean no. Edge display would most likely mean no.

OnePlus? HTC? Ara? Not the direction Samsung is going.

Slated for the end of the year, would you get it?

Nah. Even if they improve upon the Note 5 Edge I'm gonna wait till 2016. I get a phone every two years and I refuse to start buying a phone every year because they upgrade it. Plus it's absolutey nothing wrong with this phone.

No removeable battery would be the decisive point for me. The Note 4 is the best phone I've had and the radios are better than my Note 3. If they do a double Edge version, I might be ever so tempted, but that removeable battery is extremely important to me.

I still have the Note 3, eligible to upgrade in Aug so I'm looking forward to the Note 5. But if the battery is sealed then I'll either get the Note 4, Note Edge or hold on to my Note 3.

I can not understand why phones come with sealed batteries. What happens if you need to pull the battery to kill power to the device for a software issue? Are there any advantages to a sealed battery??

I am one who upgrades often but if they seal that battery and memory it will be a no for me as well. And if they get rid of how well the Edge functions and make it more like the S6 Edge SUPER DUPER NO!

Actually, I was planning on waiting and get Note 5. But after seeing what Samsung has done with S6 and S6 Edge removing SD expansion capability and removable battery, it sold me on getting Note Edge. Probably the last Note Edge with SD and battery replaceable unit.

Just got my Note Edge. I initially thought of returning it if I didn't like it but so far I have been liking it a lot!

Leaks say they will be releasing a Note double edged 5. I mean really less than a year?

I was thinking of the same thing and got my Note Edge - I love it so far. I believe the cost of a Note 5 or Note Edge II - would be even more than the 400 I paid in contract for the Edge!

I was thinking the same thing but thought about the cost it might be and the Note Edge was expensive enough at 400 in contract so I got my Edge and am loving it.

I'd love the note 5 but I'm leasing my note 4. Can't upgrade till february 2017.

That is the reason I upgraded to the Note Edge on Thursday over the Galaxy S 6. My Galaxy S III was so slow and rebooting on its own frequently, almost unusable. But to only way to shut the phone off was to pull the battery. If I can't do that, or change out the battery, the phone isn't worth it.

If the performance is better (screen - chip) and it battery is replaceable and takes a sd card.
