hehe, I got my iPhone a day before release. Do you guys think I should add another line to my family plan to get the Atrix, right now neither lines are eligible to upgrade.
Get phone->change sim->cancel data plan->Give new line # to grandma.

This will be the one time I'm not going to join the early adopters. I've done it often, and usually had to work through a couple OS releases (and sometimes device returns) until things were working smoothly. I learned that with my last upgrade, a BlackBerry Torch...didn't pick it up until last month and there was a good stable OS, and it's been a joy to use.

Combine that with the fact that the price for the device and the accessory docks will surely come down in the coming months, I feel confident that I can get a great deal on a battle-tested and likely glitch-free device by June.

I pre-ordered mine today.
An FYI for anyone like me who has an unlimited $30 data plan with AT&T. You get to keep it when upgrading to the Atrix. I spoke to 2 different customer support people and they both confirmed this.
