Will you consider switching from DROID to CDMA Iphone?

Based on the iPad announcement...still no plans for iPhone 4G.

Give up my Droid for it? Not likely. To have on my spare line just to see what the big deal is? Maybe. But the price would have to be right and I doubt I would do it before the LTE 4G network is rolled out to my lil podunk town. To be honest I think the UI of the iPhone is detestably boring. I don't like looking at a bunch of icons all the time. I don't even have any icons on my desktop's or notbook's desktop. But as I said it would be a cool toy to play around with for a few months, get bored with, and then sell on ebay to the droolers lol.

After seeing that the ipad is going to be on AT&T I'm giveing up on verizon iPhone. I just wanted to have a option android or iPhone. Not sure I would have gotten a iPhone but I wanted my options open. Droid here I come.

It certainly appears that a CDMA iPhone is highly unlikely this year, but it’s definitely not out of the realm of possibilities. The 3G iPad is no due for 90 days which if my math is correct has it coming out around May 1st. Apple typically introduces a new iPhone in June/July. If a Verizon iPhone was coming up later this year (in that June/July time frame) how much business would that cost AT&T? I think tons. It would also hurt Apple by people holding off buying any 3G or 3GS phone and waiting for the Verizon one.

If it's taking 90 days to bring a 3G AT&T iPad to market, how long is it going to take to bring an iPhone to market using a new technology (CDMA) with a new supply chain (presuming that Apple needs a new supplier for its radio chips)?

Again, I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for one coming this year but until Apple introduces the 4th generation iPhone, there is a chance.
