Will you switch to the Galaxy Nexus?

Well, idk if I would say 12 year old girl...lol. All though that would hilarious if that was true. No worries though, I know vanilla Android isn't for everyone and like yourself...I'd love to see the new features HTC is going to Sense once they begin bringing in ICS code. Should be interesting to watch unfold. Hopefully once the new Sense is out someone will make a port for the OG EVO. How awesome would that be?

Yeah that would be nice. I would imagine sprint is slowing down device releases pending this LTE rollout but I would love to run a Sense 3.5 rom but cannot get working 4g until Sprint has a HTC 3.5 device. I thought some more about this topic last night and I do believe that's when I'll upgrade. Whenever the next big HTC device comes out on Sprint. I would imagine it wont be long. Yeah my 12yr old girl comment was a little out there LOL. Its just I drooled when gingerbread started rolling out. I'm not GaGa over ics features.

Its an awesome phone but by the time i get my upgrade there will be way better phones on the market so im keeping myself put with my phone. Im in no rush. Quad core tech here i come!

it's hard to believe that the OG EVO will be almost 2 years old by the time that the Sprint G-Nex is released. i think it's a testament to how great the EVO is that it has stood the test of time for this long. my launch day EVO is still flawlessly running strong.

You said it Gekko, even to this day this phone never stops amazing me. :)

I will definitely upgrade from my wonderful EVO 4G to the Galaxy Nexus. For now it's the EVO 4G running CM 7.

The Evo 4G is my work horse. Gonna be a sad moment to part with it when my upgrade is due later this year.

You said it, super attached to mine for the past 2 years. I might have it framed and hang it on my wall. ;)

Like the rest of us early adopters to the EVO, I'm up for upgrade too in April. Can't not wait. I already have my peso's put aside.

I honestly don't know why I can upgrade early. I just texted "upgrade" (without the quotes) to 1311 and Sprint sends one back to tell you when your ready. It says March 1st for me. :D

Edit: Well I did buy a Hero a month before the EVO and just swticed it when it released. Might be the reason.

I got my Evo day 1 (I think) on June 4, 2010, so I'm not eligible until June 3. How are you guys getting eligible in April?

Not sure what I'll be getting to replace it since that's almost 6 months away. Who knows what will be out by then. If it was today, I'd be looking at the Nexus of course.
You are eligible for upgrade 2 months before your contract expires or month 22 of a 24 month contract. So you too would be eligible for an upgrade in April.

Ha, Sprint says I'm eligible in April...........2013.

I wonder what will be the hot phone then. I'm assuming the Galaxy Nexus will be EOL by then.

My upgrade is in May, but I'll see what's out then. I am a huge fan of HTC, but the bloat has got to go. Sense is such a resource hog. I love the idea of vanilla android on a phone and getting all the latest updates with a nexus, but I cant stand samsung products so I'm at a bit of a crossroad.
Hopefully at MWC HTC will announce an evo 2! I'll keep my fingers crossed. ;)

I can honestly say the only thing that would make me think twice about the G'Nex would be an actual EVO 2. Plus HTC said all their devices will have unlockable bootloaders from now on. Decisions decisions. :p

I love my EVO had it from day one, But yes looks like GN my next phone, Unless I see a
sweet Quad core pop up.

Kind of wish I could but no... I'll wait for the next big Sprint phone when my contract us up in May. Hopefully there wil be some tegra 3 action.

Think about this real quick and try not to drool.......G'Nex with the Tegra 3. :D:D:D

Edit: Also a built in kickstand. The EVO ruined me on that. Every case I buy from now on will have to have a kickstand of the phone doesn't. I'm sure you guys can sympathize. ;)
