Will your GNex last until your next upgrade?

Given the fragility if the screen, I'm not sure I'll have a choice. I'm very careful, but gorilla glass this is not. I'm ok with off contract though.

So far the answer is yes, but that is hard to say, especially when my rezound that I loved only lasted 4 months before I got bored, and that is the phone I used my upgrade on. If I do anything it will be at full retail.

I wanted to hop over to the S3, but Ive been finding that most of the people who love their Nexus have them rooted. Ill probably root it and try my best to keep it until my upgrade is available...

I have two upgrades available... I'll let my wife get the S3....I'm keeping my Gnex
So when exactly do we lose the unlimited when we upgrade?

Just burned an upgrade on the S3 right now

Thinking about what to do with my Nexus currently, it really is a fantastic device but if I'm looking at holding a device for a little longer (since the next phone upgrade to keep unlimited data is going to cost me an arm and a leg), I figured I would squeeze one last upgrade out of Verizon

Not sure what to do with my Gnex currently, it really is the best smartphone I've ever owned. Only ended up keeping it for 7 months thanks to Verizon's plan changes. Maybe I'll just hold onto it and keep one heckuva backup device

The gn is the only phone that gets updates on time, so I'll probably be sticking with it.

I'm sticking with the Nexus for a while, and I have no plans on switching to Verizon's Share Everything plan. So I'm going to keeping my unlimited plan and pay retail for whatever my next phone is, whenever I need to.

After finally giving in and rooting the phone, installing the AOKP ROM, the Franco kernel, and FC04/05 radios, my battery life is phenomial, my quadrant score is around 3200 and the phone hasn't rebooted on me once since rooting. With around 1.5 hours of screen time, 2.5 hours of talk time I am getting 16 hours of battery with Verizon's 2100 MAh battery. I'll be keeping this phone for quite a while particularly with the ability to now upgrade the second new versions of Android come out.
