Im SERIOUSLY needing help. I will gladly pay for an app that WORKS.
A little history. Just switched from 8 years of T-mobile. The coverage sucked so bad. Couldn't take it anymore. So now have a shiny new Samsung Galaxy S5 on Verizon. YES the coverage is WAAAAY better. However, VERIZON IS THE PROBLEM of this issue. The cust serv at VRZ is clueless. I need a real answer. This is my business Im talking about here.
Previously I had an S5 on Tmobile. Coverage sucked but life was simple otherwise. I could long press on any number and "add to auto reject list". Problem solved. Never saw that persons call again. I could long press on ANY text and touch the circle/slash in upper right. Problem solved. No more texts from that scammer. I also had an array of pre-typed business responses (text templates; aka hotkeys) that worked flawlessly for the hundreds of kiddies who want to ask me if my item is still available and then proceed to ask every question I clearly typed in the description. Long-press on lets say number 6 and "All prices are firm unless stated otherwise" pops up. No need to re-type the same crap 200 times a day. Time is money.
FF to Verizon. Initially I got the LG G4. I could do NONE of the above. The HORRIBLE Verizon messaging app has been integrated into all VZW phones, and apparently has replaced many previously useful features of stock apps. I finally took it back after days of fighting & got the Galaxy S5 again. I regained my 100% imperative Text templates, and they work flawlessly. I got back my PHONE block feature, and it works flawlessly.
TEXT IS A DISASTER
Ive tried many apps. NONE WORK!!! Either I cant send or receive pics, or the block features just do not work. PLEASE do not recommend mister number, clean inbox, etc. THEY DO NOT WORK.
My business is selling online, and I get dozens of certified money order scam texts weekly. I now have no way to block all the idiots. I make real money. I can pay for a real app. Im tired of gimmicky free crap that dont work. When you review the ratings, it appears the problem is with newer phones, and with verizon, or both. ANY advise is appreciated.
Text app must BLOCK, (one touch preferred.. shouldnt have to type number in any box). Should send /receive pics **EVERY TIME**, should include text template, and should be reliable.
And PLEEEEASE DO NOT RECOMMEND Verizons Family Plan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Thats why Im facing all this BS in the first place. I can max that 8 blocks per 3 month period in a HALF A DAY. Im using my phone for business not blocking an evil ex. That would be so much easier than blocking the hundreds of foreign scammers trying to convince me to take their fake money orders.
