Snapdragon 800 phones are here to keep Qualcomm at the top of the mobile SoC industry. We're getting near desktop-quality power in devices that'll last most of a day or longer. This is incredible technology and I'd love to have a tablet if possible.

There once was a user from Brooklyn
Whose tablet, he thought, it was bookin!
Nexus 7? fell flat!
And thirsty at that
Oh snapdragon 800...heaven!

I'm excited about the new possibilities developers will have because of this boost in computing power.
Also, I think an LTE Advance modem will be a good investment for the future as networks are evolving quickly.

Don't get me wrong - I actually don't need that much computing power as a Snapdragon 600 might easily fit my needs as well but at least I need an upgrade from my Desire HD.
The point is - I want that computing power (just in case) and who doesn't like devices that run smooth as butter ;)
I am very good at getting every device to slow down and run out of battery quickly due to my heavy usage so a litte extra horsepowers might help.

I hope it doesn't take too long for a few good devices rocking the Snapdragon 800 chip to roll out.

I love to have the latest and greatest technology. Also, since I teach High School, I like to show my students all the cool tech that is available all the time. This would be awesome for the students to play with.

I'd like to see how the battery life and performance compares to the S4. Who wouldn't like to have the latest and greatest? Thanks AC!

Qualcomm is one of the pioneers of mobile processor development. Been using their processor powered phones for the past two years. The S800 seems like it will be a beast, and I'm excited to see just how much better it is from the current S600 and their older but great Snapdragon S4.

Like many here, performance and battery life. I am highly impressed with the 600 in my S4, although disappointed I bought it before the announcement of the Google edition... Seem like a good chip for a first tablet, hint hint

I would love to win a phone or tablet with an 800 snapdragon processor. Qualcom makes the very best in my opinion. More power and less battery usage are nightly desirable.
