Porcupine Tree - Atlanta

Not just a solid live album for those who like progressive rock with an edge or intelligently written metal, but released for a good cause; former Japan bassist Mick Karn is currently fighting advanced stage cancer, and the band released the album to help raise funds to allow Mick to continue fighting the disease (PT's keyboardist Richard Barbieri was also a member of Japan).

Detox by Dr. Dre...oh wait scratch that :p I would say Eminem's Recovery for now is enough to tie me over until the new Cudi and Kanye albums later this year. My vote = Recovery.

The only complete album I've bought this year has been "Pulse" by Toni Braxton. She's got a great voice and sure isn't bad to look at either.

MY favorite album of the year so far is Dwele- Wants, World, Women. Its like 3 albums in one.

So far I'm going with B.O.B - B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray. And runner up is The Heavy - "The House That Dirt Built" but I don't think it actually came out this year.

Eminem - Recovery

I feel like it was some of his best work, not to mention it was a pretty solid album. Has a great replay value, nice features, and it's more than just words over music.

My favorite album of the year is Coheed and Cambria's Year of the Black Rainbow... great album... Every end has a beginning...
