What excites me the most personally is all the potential the platfor has...think lawnmower man without the killing.

Professionally, it is the potential for augmented reality to help those of that have difficulty seeing and the like. I know we are quite a few years from that being pratical but the potential is exciting.

quite honestly, I don't get this VR thing. Maybe I need to try it to 'get it' (or I'm too old). I've never seen/used one, so I might as well start out with the best.

Oh man winning one of the T-Mobile ones would be great. I'm in need of a new phone and I already have a cardboard. I really enjoy touring places I'll never get to see in real life with street view, and some of the games are really fun too.

Maybe the feeling of looking stupid waving your hands at nothing.. that too in a portable variant. Finally, I can put my smartphone to some dumb use. Here's looking forward to a Temple Run VR, where I actually have to *run*.

Honestly I'd love it for times like plane or bus trips for a crazy immersive video experience.

Being able to walk around in a virtual world, while sitting in my under wear on my couch eating toast :) thats the life.

Can't wait until someone immerses us in Springfield with the Simpson's, or Quahog with the Griffins! The G3 and the LG VR would take me there!

A friend has a google cardboard and I was surprised by how easy to set up and fun that thing was... Obviously the test demos we tried weren't fully featured but it was still pretty cool to use it. Would really like to try one that has a built in strip to hold it in place because then I could use a ps3 controller just to see if its any better.

Hi,

I always feel VR is an amazing technology that has grown to a far extent. At my small age I used to play simple 2d video games at big TVs and Computers. Now they have reached great heights that is visible when a game at your cell phone device gives a real live experience in terms of touch and feel. And waiting to experience things to come still :)
