The thing that excites me most about VR is that we'll feel much more immersed in technology (specifically video games and their virtual worlds). What I like most about smartphones is that we have so much connectivity and information in our pockets, (almost) all the time.

I can describe my excitement in three words: Virtual Boy System! Remember how much those sucked? Well I don't. I wanted one so bad, but never got one. Good for me because I later found out how awful they were. So what's better than getting the tech when I was nine years old? Getting it at 29! Only thing that has stopped me from buying one is that it sucked so much. I'd rather not waste the money on the old tech. But I'm also excited because the technology has advanced and I want to get my hands on one.
