I would love the ability to use VR functionality in real-world environments... walking thru town, items on store shelves, etc. while some people are all about the immersive games, I would be more about making VR more about functionality. also, should I win, I'd need Sprint... no T-Mo in this part of the country.

Nothing better than getting motion sickness whole sitting still, and to see ppl grabbing their seat being afraid to fall off the chair:>

Being able to jump into a different world with the push of a button sounds incredible. Plus the g3 is an amazing phone still.

I'm very excited about VR - have been since the Lawnmower Man days. It really seems like we're close to getting to Holodeck level virtual worlds started. There are some cautions to take note of (we don't necessarily want a world where nobody ventures into the "meat space"), but just as with the Internet there is great potential for human connection and evolution. Right now I'm very interested to try some truly immerse gaming and story telling. Right now I want to get immersed in creative art and blow some stuff up. Right now I think having this develop on smartphones is exciting because of the portability both out and about and within your home. Player One is Ready.

this would be so amazing have the lg g2 and the g3 is a awesome upgrade plus have tmobile plus to be able to experience vr for the first time would be a amazing opportunity cant wait to try it out

I think VR and smartphones is exciting because it's an interesting combination that opens the VR door to millions of smartphone owners that would not have bought a specialized VR device.

I remember using VR for the first time in the 90s... Playing basketball.... It was mind blowing LOL. I'll use this to relive the 90s VR rage!

I can't wait until Netflix starts making original VR content. I thought I was already addicted to Netflix, but VR movies and TV shows would be absolutely amazing! I also think that VR could become a huge game changer when it comes to education and training. Instead of just showing an instructional video, VR will allow you to actually walk through whatever you are trying to learn and put you in an environment where you can safely have an "accident" and learn from your mistakes.

What excites me most about our current VR is the step in the right direction towards future VR technology. This is just the tip of the iceberg for VR and AR systems.

Awesome! Thanks, A|C!

I'm most excited about the idea of shooting my own content. I have fun making Photospheres and viewing them with Cardboard, but would love something with higher resolution capture and a better screen than my 2013 Moto X.

I'd love to try out Google Cardboard on this as well as upgrade my phone!

VR would make Street View an even cooler option to check out new places. Expanding on the use could be for looking at new houses or even AR gaming.

Honestly I just want to get home and strap it on to watch a movie and relax after a long hard day at work. With a beer in hand. Or play some really deep video games. Nothing scary though because that provokes weird bowel movements.
