Hi, I decided to finally make an account here. I've read your articles for years and admittedly still use currents as my default news reader for you guys. I've been in the game since the original OG DROID era. I remember pulling my first update.zip in a parking lot on my lunch break. revealing Froyo a week before release. Phone acting wonky for about 20 minutes untill everything seemed to be stable. That was a wild moment. Now I never got into rooting on that phone. I attempted, But computers were still beyond me. Then the time came when upgrades were arising. I've been on Verizon my whole life doing the whole thang. Moto Razr, to Envy2, Moto Droid, and then Finally the Galaxy Nexus, Basically my wet android dream at the time. Until I still wanted to be a gamer and all those multitouch issues were becoming a pain in the bootay. Finally came the time i found a very simple to use toolkit to begin my rooting adventure. Mind you I had no effing clue what I was doing. but I did it. I knew a friend that did it. and i Dont even know if he knew at that time. So my life changed at that point. I've been through all that Gnex love. That Trusty CWM, and Discovering TWRP. When you totally F@!#$%!@& everything up when upgrading to 4.2 and you lost all your data. And when all that Ubuntu Hype came about I grabbed a Nexus 7 and have loved that thing like crazy as long as i don't let it die. Iv'e got A little family of my Asus 1005hab an old gf bought me. (should have never broken up with her). Windows xp is gone Ubuntu in its place with a lil windows 7 on the side, My nexus 7 and My Gnex have been the perfect companions. I was sorry to hear that I wasn't going to get any update love. officially put to shame as the nexus s faced. Once again it is the perfect time again and my contract is ending with Verizon. Im planning on trying some T-mobile love. We'll see how that goes. Im moving back to my hometown soon. I'm probably in the most interesting place of my life. I would greatly appreciate the chance to be on top of the android world like i was when i first bought this Gnex. Even if I dont win I will make it by and gt one no matter what. But I am a tried and true Devoted Nexus and android lover and ios can burn because nothing stopping android anytime soon. I love your articles guys. Keep up the good work. -Maxx
