Let's face it, there are a lot of you out there with the original Motorola Droid, and it's probably starting to look a little haggard. Tell you what: We're going to give one lucky person our (mostly) brand new Motorola Droid 3. And being the benevolent bloggers that we be, let's sweeten the deal. Here's what we'll do:

• One lucky person will will our Motorola Droid 3. (You'll be on your own for Verizon's service, though.) And we'll throw in $50 worth of accessories from the Android Central Store, too.
• One other lucky person's gonna get a $50 store certificate, plus a free Android Central T-shirt.
• And three more of you will win Android Central T-shirts.

What do you have to do to win? Take a picture of your old and busted phone. Doesn't have to be a Motorola Droid. Could be any smartphone. Or, hell, a feature phone. So long as it's old and busted. (But don't go dragging your RAZR through the streets, ya dig?)

Pathetic.

I dropped it in the driveway this week, and the trackball fell out and rolled under the car somewhere -- which is really no great loss, as it only moved the cursor in one direction (and that one only sometimes). It only moved up, so I flipped it, now it only moves down, which requires some creativity to access any of the features other than phone and mail. And I recently moved somewhere where T-Mobile data service is occasional at best. Truly pathetic.

Let's hope I don't need to type anything with an 'H' or a 'J.'
And the 'G' is barely hanging on.
Not that I can use the keyboard anyway, as the backlight on the display always turns off when the keyboard is out.
And yet sliding out the keyboard is the only way the turn the display on because the on/off button doesn't work at all either.
And it's just soooo slow.

I need that new phone so bad!
And I'm in Pensacola too!
So I'll just come pick that up. Now preferably.

Storm 1 owner. I let my sister borrow my phone for a couple days and it came back like this. She dropped it off a pier and it hit levy rocks on the way down before plopping itself into the ocean. Cracked screen down to the motherboard, backplate all scratched up, and of course the water sensor is now red......I managed to dry it out using vodka and rice to be able to salvage some media off it. I don't have insurance so i would love to get a Droid 3. As you can see in the picture, i've already been looking at it! Thanks AC.

Looks brand new.. thats because Iv had 3.. each with the most terrible software and touch screen known to man!its 100% unusable..unless you want to watch it in its infinite loop of going back and forth from portrait and landscape mode, calling ppl, texting ppl, and opening programs at will. its like its possessed.
